The City of Port Angeles seeks qualified consultants to complete an Urban Forest Canopy Analysis (UFCA). The UFCA is an assessment of the tree cover canopy and takes into account not only the percentage of tree canopy across the city, but also compares it with local geography, climate, and land-use categories.

Public Works & Utilities Business Seminar Presentation Area businesses learned how they can do business with the City of Port Angeles at this free seminar held on January 31, 2008 at the Lincoln Center in Port Angeles.
This seminar offered information to local contractors, consultants and suppliers to explain the proper procedures to be considered for providing services such as:
Building trades, roads, landscaping services, traffic signal installation, facility maintenance and repair, tree trimming and removal, utility repair and installation (communication, electrical, sanitary, storm drain, drainage, fencing, concrete, water) and others.
